On July 9th, 2019, the executive teams of GEP and Biolive met in Istanbul, Turkey to discuss how Biolive’s innovative bio-degradable plastics could revolutionize the world of plastics. From these discussions evolved something not really anticipated – friendship. Both teams realized that not only did we have a lot in common in business, we realized that we have a passion for wanting to change the world. After further discussions, it became clear that GEP could help Biolive grow, and it was decided that both companies should enter into a strategic partnership agreement. Although some of the details are being finalized, we share a clear vision – to rid the earth of non-biodegradable plastics. GEP and Biolive will begin to share innovative concepts and develop those concepts through the Biolive/GEP research and development division. GEP will secure new markets and grow our production capability. We are very excited about our new friends and partners, we have a lot of work to do, as it will take enormous effort to change the global appetite for plastics. Let’s get working!!
